Camale\u00f3n Transparente 2026 Departmental Short Story Contest<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re back this year with a new edition of Camale\u00f3n Transparente<\/strong>. After the first metamorphosis, the contest is growing and opening up to the whole department: from the Laboratorio de Letras, we invite the Risaralda<\/strong> community and everyone who loves literature to take part in this short story call for entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We want to read young and adult voices; intimate or overflowing stories; tales that dare to explore and transform the everyday. The theme is open<\/strong>: here, imagination sets the course. Come and discover, create and share your way of storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registrations will be made directly on this page. The form will open on 23 February 2026<\/strong> and will be available until 22 March 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camale\u00f3n Transparente 2025: How It Began<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, we held the first edition of Camale\u00f3n Transparente in Bel\u00e9n de Umbr\u00eda<\/strong>, and it was an experience that confirmed just how valuable it is to read and to support one another through writing. In just four weeks, 98 authors<\/strong> from the municipality registered, with stories that were very different from one another. Each short story was blind-reviewed by a jury of writers and creative writing teachers, considering originality, narrative quality, and the ability to move the reader.<\/p>\n\n\n
